Hello, I'm David Sidwell, I.T. Consultant, Writer and Trainer.
I graduated from Monash University in 1983 (final year was 1982). I've no doubt that the four years I spent at University were my formative ones. I came out with an Honours Degree in Physics and ready to face the world. So, on January 10th 1983, I started work with IBM Australia.
In the 25 years since, I've spent most of my working life at two great companies; IBM Australia Ltd and Aspect Computing.
But time moves on and I've now got my own business: Artwill Services. Through this I offer my services in: Executive Summary of me: - 25 years in technical IT; mostly with IBM Australia and Aspect Computing
- Merged hands-on, pre-sales technical skills with freelance writing to also offer Technical Writing
- 15 Months with Ericsson Australia as contracting Technical Writer
- Also, my experience enables me to develop and teach training classes
- Williamstown, Victoria based
- Available for contracting (full or part time) in Technical Writing and/or Training
- Have own business and vehicle
It's really a combination of two of my main interests: Technology and Creativity. Not a bad pairing. And hopefully one that will bring value to you too. |
